THE BEATLES - 'WE CAN WORK IT OUT/'DAY TRIPPER'
This UNPLAYED UK 1st pressing dates from initial December 1965 release on the black & silver Parlophone label: R 5389
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text with earlier/scarcer 'The Parlophone Co..' worded rims.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible in the centre of the 'We Can Work It Out' label.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 18341-4 & 7XCE 18342-1.
Stamper codes: 1/GAL & 6/GOP
Housed within its original green & white 'Fran the Fan' Parlophone company cover & an original 1960's record shop paper bag.

An immaculate set with no spindle trails around either totally unworn centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Pristine deep-gloss playing surfaces which are 'as new' & unmarked in strong daylight, showing just a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp.
Sound Quality: MINT
This disc shows no signs of ever having been played and my single play-check confirms the sound both sides to be flawless & wonderful.
Cover: EXCELLENT
Clean & flat with just a touch of toning to the lower edge but no writing, tear or seam splits.
Our grading is strict & conservative grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
We carefully play every record I sell on an EMT 950 transcription turntable fitted with a 'TSD 15' cartridge at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
