Catapilla LP - Changes - UK original Vertigo swirl label,gimmix cover 1972.Vertigo 6360074,matrix numbers 6360074 1Y//1-420,6360074 2Y//1-420,gatefold wallet sleeve,die-cut front.
Very very rare UK original copy of the second and final album from Catapilla,the rock band whose name lingered on for a while on record shops in Exeter and Taunton.
Line Up - Graham Wilson(guitar),Ralph Rolinson(organ,electric piano),Brian Hanson(drums),Carl Wassard(electric bass),Robert Calvert(electric and acoustic saxophones),Anna Meek(vocals).
Cover generally excellent - very sound overall condition,still a bright gleam in the caterpillars eyes.Front panel excellent on both sides,edges firm,a couple of light impressed marks.Wallet section front has very light storage wear but there is a touched up scar top right corner from sticker removal.There are a couple of light creases on the rear,one mirrored on the front,edges show absolutely only minimal light rubbing,spine looks really good despite light fading and a little rubbing at either end,a little light rubbing to the front spine edge,slight rubbing to the top and bottom edges.Includes original swirl patterned poly-lined inner sleeve.
Disc is generally excellent - both sides have a bright cdlean appearance,with no obvious marks or blemishes,there are occasional clicks,pops or crackle,particularly at the transition between tracks but no skips or jumps,overall the disc plays particularly well with little to detract from the full clear sound.
