7" Single

  Artist/Group: GENESIS   Title: SPOT THE PIGEON   Format: 7" Single   Record Label: The Famous Charisma Label Catalogue no. 6228 204   Country of origin: Brazil   Track listing: Match Of The Day / Pigeons c/w Inside & Out   Condition (Inner/Outer): VG+/EX   Description: Good copy; record is in very good condition, bordering on excellent in fact with light wear to surface, mainly faint marks and one or two tiny scratches, but looks fine and the record still retains something of its original sheen. Sleeve is pretty good; there is a patch in the top, left-hand corner with part of the cover was removed (this appears to have been standard practice and it was done to enable the manufacturer to put a stamp on the cover, for use by radio stations, etc.) and someone has gone to great lengths to 'restore' it! There is also evidence of tape repair on one side and the bottom is split. Could be better, but could easily be a lot worse!   Comments: This was obviously a promotional copy, because the labels are stamped on both sides and part of the sleeve had been cut-away for the same stamp, but it appears someone has removed the layer of paper the stamp was on and then they've re-drawn that part of the cover!
