Description

NICK DRAKE - BRYTER LATER ISLAND PINK RIM FIRST PRESS !   A1U/B1U MATRIX    Year:1970 Cat: ILPS 9134 On offer here is the second of Nick Drake's three classic albums, all of which I am listing close together to allow bidders a chance on all 3 or just the one you need! The textured cardboard single sleeve by Ernest J Day & Co is absolutely immaculate having been kept in a plastic sleeve by the original owner from new! There are NO signs of wear at all - its like new and is graded NEAR MINT!  Plain white Patent inner is flat with slight creasing around the opening. Graded EX. The disc itself has T and A stamper codes at the 3 O'Clock postion.  Visually the vinyl has great gloss and is flawless and unmarked even under strong light!  We are being critical here! The Palm Tree labels are deeply coloured with no fading at all, there is still a vinyl curl residue on Side 1. There are just a couple spindle trails showing this record has hardly been played! Visually graded NEAR MINT. When played the sound is superb throughout, even in quiet passages and between tracks.. Play graded EX++ I have been as critical as possible in describing this rare record!  Never upgrade again! Dont miss this one! The photos should show enough detail but please contact me if any more information is needed.    Watch my listings for more great psych/prog classics in the coming weeks by adding me to your favourite sellers!

    ------------------------------------------------------------

My records are graded in accordance with Record Collector's Grading System as follows:

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc

+ or - indicates a grading in between categories
