Description
Nick Drake - Bryter Later UK Island original 1972 Cover / Record M-/M- beautiful, writing on back cover, a black line upper right, see pic.
Fragile textured sleeve so tuff to find as beautiful as this.
Very rare misprint, Side 1 has another island record on the label, Quintessence - Dive Deep ILPS 9143, Bryter Later has ILPS 9134 so there must have been a mix up,
I´m living in Sweden and found it here recently, talked to a Swedish buddy and record collector who has a great collection of UK album rarities and he mentioned he has the same misprint as i have and he was sure this misprint was exported here to Sweden by mistake,
The previous owner and probably the person who bought it back in the days here in Sweden, he has written in Swedish on the label FEL ETIKETT = Wrong label.
This Nick Drake album must have sold in very ltd numbers here in Sweden and i guess most must have been returned to the place they were sold.
This copy plays both sides of Bryter Later so perhaps that´s the reason some kept them, anyway this is a special find and hopefully there are Nick Drake collectors out there who would be interested in this copy.
