Absolute killer and in-demand northern soul 45 out of Ohio by The Grey Imprint on CLEAR HILL 102 : Do You Get The Message? / The Other Side (Instro track to the A-side). Labels are clean aside from a small amount of writing on one side and some tiny specks of what appears to be black ink on the other side (looks like it may be original and possibly happened at the pressing plant). The condition of this copy is very nice. It play grades a conservative VG+ to VG++ overall. There is a very slight, very gradual storage / edge warp which does not effect play. It seems that most copies of this record that turn up have this slight warp. Take a listen to the soundclip, you won't be disappointed. I will not end this auction early, so please don't ask. GRADING SCALE:
NM = A near perfect record in every way. Record shows no obvious signs of wear.
VG++ = Somewhere between VG+ and Near Mint.
VG+ = Record has been played, but previous owner took good care of it. Record will have light scuffs or light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. VERY little to no background/surface noise will be heard while the record is playing.
VG = Light to moderate Background/surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's fade and intro. This background noise will not overpower the music otherwise, however. Groove wear and light scratches (deep enough to affect sound) will be noticeable. Still a nice record.
VG- = Somewhere between VG and G+.
G/G+ = Significant surface noise upon playing. Scratches and visible groove wear will be evident. Record will play through without skipping or sticking however.
Fair/Poor = Cracked, severely warped, with skips or sticks, or have obvious signs of HEAVY play. Basically it will serve better as a coaster than a record.
