STAN GETZ AT THE SHRINE – NORGRAN (MGN-2000-2). Boxed set of two LP’s with Booklet. Cover Art by DAVID STONE MARTIN.
Musicians include STAN GETZ – tenor sax/BOB BROOKMEYER – valve trombone/JOHN WILLIAMS – piano/ART MARDIGAN – drums/BILL ANTHONY – bass.
Recorded "LIVE" at the SHRINE Auditorium in L.A. Box set released in 1955.
Very Rare (2) LP Box Set.
Vinyl – Ex Booklet – NM Box – G/VG
Both LP’s look great; a couple light marks;very nice gloss; beautiful labels. Looks like they have hardly been played. They play great!
BOOKLET is Gorgeous!!! This a booklet of (10) Photos of STAN GETZ. Booklet by PHIL STERN.
Box cover has some damage to edging; small area of side panel is missing; also couple tears and folds; actually looks to have been seperated from Box Bottom. Actual Cover (artwork by DAVID STONE MARTIN) looks great; just the edging around the box is damaged. Box bottom is great except rough edge where seperated from box cover. Liner Notes are on the reverse of cover and were written by NORMAN GRANZ and Look Great.
Side 1- Flamingo/Lover Man/Pernod; Side 2 – Tasty Pudding/I’ll Remember April; Side 3 – Polka Dots and Moonbeams/Open Country/It Don’t Mean A Thing; Side 4 – We’ll Be Together Again/Feather Merchant.
