The EP format has long gone, but this collection of Beatles classics lives on. Though many songs are featured on Beatles albums or various collections, these disks are worth every penny to a true fan. The covers of each EP alone are good fun, and show the development of the Beatles style over that unique decade. The songs are timeless, and include some of the lesser known recordings such as Slow Down and Matchbox where the boys get to rock it as if they were back in the Cavern. If you're a Beatles fan this is a must have for your collection, and even if you're not the entertainment in these 15 EPs well exceeds the price you pay. Classic!

These Japanese hi-grade , virgin-vinyl, extended-dynamic range vinyl pressings - while they were imported  in the 1970's and early 1980's - were audiophile and connoisseur delights  (we   have not  seen some of these titles in circulation in years – some of them are highly collectible). These majestic recordings received an  intense, meticulous and laborious treatment like very few other recordings did.   They are characterized by the boosted dynamic and frequency range, almost compulsive attention paid to the fine detail and integrity of the pressing and highest quality  of the material. Many of  these recordings remain unsurpassed, delivering music  reproduction as close to  the actual recording session as possible. In the best tradition of some of the major Japanese corporations -  such as RCA Victor Co. (Nippon),  Warner-Pioneer Corporation of Japan or EMI-Toshiba Corporation  -  the sound quality of the Japanese pressings is, generally,  truly extraordinary - much better, we firmly believe, than the corresponding first pressings of the albums in question.

THE RECORDS COME IN METICULOUSLY REPLICATED ORIGINAL PICTURE SLEEVES, DELICATE PVC-INNER SLEEVE  RESEMBLING FINE (RICE PAPER) AND EP DATA INSERT.

(a)          THE VINYL IS ABSOLUTELY, PERFECTLY MINT,  as if never played before. The original luster is totally intact, and the vinyl shines and sparkles like brand new. The labels look perfect, simply gorgeous, with absolutely no trace of wear around the spindle hole. The record is TOTAL PERFECTION - ABSOLUTE VISUAL NIRVANA! We are confident that, in this condition, the record we present here is truly once-in-a-lifetime find.

(b)          The records come in their hi-grade PVC inner sleeves, which have - apparently with success - shielded the records from the harmful impact of elements over many years!

(c)           The set comes with the original Japanese-only insert still intact.

(d)          The records are pressed on a beautiful, high-quality, virgin-grade vinyl, which is usually used for audiophile, extended-dynamic-range, half-speed mastered and connoisseur pressings.

(e)           Of course, this is a full-bodied ANALOG recording, and not an inferior, digital recording!!!

(f)            All the picture sleeves in this EP set are STRONG NEAR MINT AND SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL

The following flaws or imperfections are noted on the box:

-         Cover has JUST A HINT of ring wear (nothing significant); On the scale from 1 to 10 (1 being the least, and  10 being the most severe), we assess the severity of ring wear as 2.

-         Two tiny, barely visible, peel-off marks (each one measuring less than 1/8 square inch) have been delicately masked (camouflaged) with the like-colored (blue) marker
