THE COVER IS THE GREAT UK LAMINATED COVER BY "ERNEST J. DAY & CO".

There are light scratches overall on the record and the album cover has wear- creasing, soiling, bumping & closed tears but is fully intact.

We played the record and it crackles but plays through.

This album was purchased by a friend who gave it to us as a present about 12 years ago from a woman in England. We have the original cardboard mailer it came in with the stamps and customs info which we will include with your purchase for provenance purposes.

She told us that she had gone to a very early Beatles concert in England around 1963-64 and had gotten it autographed by them but could not say they were signed by the Beatles themselves as she had handed it to a roadie to get it signed.

We have never gotten these checked out. The only thing we have done was taken it to a local Beatles convention about 9 years ago where an “expert” quickly looked at them and said off the record that they appeared to be Neal Aspinall signing for the Beatles but would have to take a closer look to be sure. Being a close personal friend and road manager for the Beatles, Neal Aspinall did this often from our research.

We still don’t know if any or all are real so we are selling this record album for the fact that it’s a rare original gold Parlophone Beatles album.

PLEASE LOOK AT ALL PHOTOS AND ASK QUESTIONS.
