First German pressing, issued in 1968 on the Apple / Electrola label, catalogue number SMO 2051/52, complete and in IMMACULATE, PRISTINE condition. Impossible to find a better copy.
This 51 year old album is in like-new condition and 100% complete.
Cover:Top-loading, fully laminated and numbered (No 0179685) gatefold cover made by Heinrich Nikolaus Gmbh is in pristine condition as per photos. The laminate is glossy and clean. The edges are perfect. The only imperfections are: a very small (2-3mm) crack to the laminate on the spine and very faint rubmarks on the edges. Grade: NEAR MINT (NM or M-)
Photos:4 full colour photos of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr are in perfect condition. No imperfections whatsoever. Grade: NEAR MINT (NM or M-)
Poster:The original poster is in perfect condition. Clean, no signs of wear. Grade: NEAR MINT (NM or M-)
Inner sleeves:Original, black, square inners are in perfect condition. It is unbelievably rare to see 50+ year old inner sleeves that are in a condition like this. The edges are perfect, with no splits. Grade: NEAR MINT (NM or M-)
Records:Both records look like new. No scratches, no blemishes, no signs of wear whatsoever. The labels are perfect. Matrices are: YEX 709-1, YEX 710-1 YEX 711-1, YEX 712-1. I played the entire album and it sounds like a brand new record, with no noticeable crackle, surface noise, pops. The sound is perfectly clean and undistorted. Grade: NEAR MINT (NM or M-)
