Description
Extremely rare, very clean UK import copy of The Gods 1968 debut LP, "Genesis", Columbia stereo SCX6286. Two of the band members, Ken Hensley and Lee Kerslake, went on to form Uriah Heep in 1969.
This record is from my personal collection and I purchased it in 1968. It has been played only once or twice. The LP in in "EX++" condition with minor sleeve scuffs that do not affect play; no pops or crackles. The jacket is in "EX+" condition with no splits or rips; slight ringwear front cover top and mild age foxing is present on the back cover, typical of a 43 year old LP.
I use the Goldmine rating system, as follows:
“SS” Still Sealed – For the collector that demands nothing but perfection.
“M” Mint - a near perfect, or unplayed record.
“NM” Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, like new.
EX+ - close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Will satisfy all but the most vain and demanding collector.
EX - a used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear.
VG+ - There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few skuffs and/or light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.
