THE BEATLES - 'AIUTO!'
This Italian 1st mono pressing of the 'Help!' LP dates from summer 1965 on the black & silver Parlophone label: PMCQ 31507
Matrix numbers: XEX 549 T 28.9.65 & XEX 550 T1 28.9.65
Vinyl weight: 177g
Housed in a unique Italian gatefold cover which is laminate outside and on the right panel of the gatefold
This copy comes complete with its original clear poly inner-sleeve

Labels: EXCELLENT
A clean & unworn set with a moderate collection of light spindle trials around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: VERY GOOD
Both playing surfaces are clean but do bear some faint marks consistent with inner-sleeve storage together with several light marks and hairlines on each side. Closer inspection directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp does little more than highlight these light storage-related marks adding nothing more of any significance.
Sound Quality: VERY GOOD
Despite having received a moderate amount of careful play my play-check detected no major deterioration to the sound quality. There is however some playwear on the innermost tracks and a handful of ticks at the end of 'You Like Me Too Much', but no further significant audible distractiont.
Cover: VERY GOOD +
A respectable example of this attractive cover. The fragile front leaf is fully intact with some light indentations from storage rubbing but no 'thumbnails' or any creasing. There is a little sheflwear along the edges along with some moderate wear to the upper left corner.
The inside of the gatefold is in superb with no damage or blemishes to either panel. The striking rear panel is clean & bright with nothing more than a few tiny storage scuffs & an unavoidable light disc impression.
There is a 1cm split to the upper part of the central hinge & a less noticeable 3.5cm stress to the centre of the spine, but the lettering is still readable.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
We have play-graded this record on an EMT 950 transcription turntable fitted with a 'TSD 15' cartridge.
Our grading is strict & conservative grading in strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
