As luck would have it, I had a chance meeting with a retired, long term vice president of PolyGram Records. Upon further investigation, I learned he had a cachet in his basement from over 30 years in the business. After a long negotiation, we purchased his entire career-spanning archive including one-of-a-kind items, white label promos, imports, picture discs, samplers, signed items and more, most never played! Over the next few years, we'll be going through it with a fine tooth comb offering YOU first pick at this once in a life-time score!
Before being VP, he was the Northeast regional radio rep. After getting Yoko added to WMMR, WIOQ, and WYSP, she had him up to the Dakota (where she signed a bunch of records in gold paint pen "Love Yoko Ono, NYC'84") before taking him to dinner at Mr. Chows.
Her signature (beautiful and vintage) is on the lips of the image. The jacket is NM with hype sticker and gold promo stamp on back. Record is mint / unplayed.
